Mini Hidden Magic: September 2025

Witch Crafts and Tarot for September 2025

Hi all! What a month it has been! I had my first in-person market and it was so much fun! I’m slowly listing all the items that didn’t sell in my Etsy shop.

On the tarot side, I’m still closed for personal readings but I plan to open those back up soon.

I hope you’re all finding time to play with your cards and do some witch crafting!

Inner Artist Reading

What is an Inner Artist?

Every single one of us has an Inner Artist. It’s the creative part inside all of us. Creativity shows up in our lives outside of making arts & crafts. You might be creative in the way you teach, creative in the way you lead, creative in the way you decorate your home, etc.

How can you be creative this month?

King of Swords from The Rainbow Tarot

For this month, I pulled the King of Swords.

The King of Swords carries lessons in both its light and shadow aspects.

If your Inner Artist has gotten wrapped up in numbers, perception, and expectation, you could help by steering them back toward creative play. The King of Swords can be too focused on achievement, deadlines, and logic. In moderation these things can move you forward in your creative goals. But, if they’ve come to be your sole indicator of creative success, your Inner Artist might be hungry for freedom and authentic expression.

If your Inner Artist, however, has been wrapped up in daydreaming, starting new projects (but not finishing them), or trying so many new things you’ve feeling overwhelmed, the King of Swords could lend you some strategy and organization.

Start by reflecting on how you’ve been feeling in your creative life.

Are you too worried about status, accomplishments, or achievements? It’s time to step back and play. Create something for the sake of creating instead of producing a finished product. And shed your concepts of what other people might like - let your Inner Artist create without worrying about the outside world and what it might think.

Are you enveloped in creative play to the point that you aren’t finishing projects or reaching your creative goals? Set up a creative calendar for the month and overlay some organization onto your creative work. Some ideas to consider:

  • Look through your works-in-progress and choose one to finish.

  • Set aside 20 minutes daily, 4 days a week to work on creative projects.

  • Look at your works-in-progress as objectively as you can. Which are you most proud of, excited by, interested in finishing? Prioritize those.

  • Organize your craft supplies and/or crafting area of your home.

Have a creative month, everyone!
