What is an Inner Artist?

Do you have to be an artist to use this reading? Nope! Every single one of us has an Inner Artist. It’s the creative part inside all of us.

Creativity shows up in our lives outside of making arts & crafts. You might be creative in the way you teach, creative in the way you lead, creative in the way you decorate your home, etc.

How can you be creative this month?

For this month, I pulled the Six of Pentacles.

To be more creative, focus on the give and take of your creative work. You’re looking for balance.

Seek balance in your life - you can’t always be creating just like you can’t always avoid your creative projects. Avoid feelings of hustle and haste around your creations. Take the time to feed them, and let the creative process feed you.

If you’ve struggled to create lately, ask your Inner Artist where you’re out of balance. Are you expecting too much of yourself? Too little? Are you pushing yourself too hard or not enough?

If you’re feeling drained in your creative work, don’t just keep pushing. Instead, brainstorm new ideas, try a new medium, or simply take a break. Enjoying other people’s art feeds your creative spirit and fills your creative well.
